Luxuriously appointed throughout, Pump House has been transformed by the owners into a spacious, contemporary self-catering holiday cottage where guests can enjoy time together. The open plan living area with its sumptuous seating is perfect for settling down with a good book or a DVD and a glass of wine in the evening. The modern fitted kitchen with its well positioned breakfast bar lets you start the day enjoying the lovely views over the Sussex countryside. If you are bringing a dog with you on your holiday, then a place below the breakfast bar has been specially left large enough for any size of dog bed! The attractive bedroom also benefits from having a separate dressing room next door, so debating what to wear can be done in private, while your other half enjoys a longer lie-in. Outside, guests have their own enclosed garden with views over glorious countryside, but adding even more appeal is the hot tub where you can relax, chat and enjoy all that this very special place has to offer. The most important part of the village is its church which was started in 1190 and has been built on the only remaining undamaged ciric in Sussex. A ciric is a circular Celtic burial ground, built above ground to ensure the graves are kept dry. This location is particularly popular with walkers and cyclists due to the famous Cuckoo Trail.
