A delightful ground floor apartment, near the centre of the historic coastal town of St Andrews. Ideal for a couple, a family or even a small group of friends, this property is equally well-situated for a holiday spent relaxing beside the sea, or practising your swing at the world-famous St Andrews Links. Although this lovely property is all on the ground floor, there are steps to your private parking space to the rear of the property and up to the front door. Inside you will find two bright and cheery bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with a set of bunks, so there’s plenty of room for everyone. The comfortable sitting room is the perfect place for relaxing with a good book and the well-equipped kitchen with breakfast area is the ideal spot to sit an enjoy a morning cup of coffee whilst planning the day’s adventures. Just a short stroll brings you to the centre of St Andrews, famed for its ancient university, stunning beaches and, of course, as the home of golf. St Andrews Links is the largest public golf complex in Europe and teeing off here immerses you in 600 years of sporting history. After you’ve played a round or two, sample a whisky or some freshly-caught seafood in one of the many bars and restaurants on offer, before strolling back to your apartment close by. For those looking to explore the rest of the beautiful county of Fife, you’ll be rewarded by traditional fishing villages dotted along the coast, not to mention historical sites such as the splendid Falkland Palace & Gardens. Easily explored on foot, the town is spread around a main hub and consists of an interesting mix of buildings from 13th Century examples to those from the present day. The town offers a variety of shops and restaurants whilst golf enthusiasts will be well served by the 'Old Course' – constructed in the 16th Century – and the modern venues of championship events and the five alternative public courses. The area is also home to an excellent Golf Museum. Within easy driving distance are the towns of Fife, Dundee, Perth and Edinburgh.
