Tryfan is a mid-terrace cottage in Llanberis which sleeps five people in three bedrooms. The cottage has a king-size double, a double and a single bedroom, along with a bathroom upstairs. Downstairs is a kitchen with dining area, and a sitting room with a woodburning stove. Outside is a small enclosed rear patio with a table and two chairs and parking can be found on the roadside, on a first come, first served basis. Tryfan is perfectly placed for tackling Snowdon, whether walking up one of the many paths, or taking the railway to the summit, as well as exploring the coast and the rest of North Wales.

A wonderful mid-terrace cottage conveniently positioned in a residential street within the vibrant village of Llanberis, which sits at the foothills of Mount Snowdon and the stunning Padarn Lake. This lovely cottage has been modernised and is arranged over three floors with an attractive and well-presented interior that is light, bright and tastefully done. Downstairs, a spacious sitting room welcomes you inside with two big comfy sofas and a splendid inglenook fireplace with a warming woodburner, perfect for relaxing in front of on those chillier evenings. The stylish kitchen is fitted with oak worktops and high gloss units and incorporates a social dining area, ideal for family meals after a busy day out and about. Upstairs, the bedrooms are well-styled with the first floor rooms featuring views towards the higher summits of the Snowdonia mountain range. The main bedroom boasts a king-size bed, and the single room is suitable for an adult or child, offering flexible sleeping accommodation. The second floor double with its sloping ceilings and exposed beams provides some additional character. Outside, there is a small enclosed decked area with lovely mountain views, should you wish to enjoy a little outdoor air with your early morning cup of coffee. The town of Llanberis is popular with walkers and climbers all year round, and offers an array of shops, pubs and eating establishments. The Snowdon Mountain Railway is a short stroll away, so why not take the train to the summit and enjoy a leisurely descent on foot? Close by are the Llanberis Lake Railway, National Slate Museum and Electric Mountain and Caernarfon, with its 13th century medieval and majestic castle is only 7 miles away. If you love the outdoors, this is the perfect base with the superb countryside of Snowdonia right on your doorstep. With excellent walking, kayaking, climbing, mountain bike trails and access to Snowdon, this delightful cottage is ideal for enjoying an activity holiday or relaxing break away at any time of year.

Dominated by the grandeur of the Snowdon Massif, Llanberis is flanked by two lakes, Llyn Padarn and Llyn Peris and is one of the most popular mountain tourist centres in the Snowdonia National Park. In fact, Llanberis is something of a ‘mecca’ for walkers and climbers, being the starting point for the ascent of Snowdon - the highest mountain in England and Wales. The ascent can be made either by train, on the Snowdon Mountain Railway, or on foot along one of the many routes to the summit.
