The village is renowned as the home of Owain Glyndwr where, in 1400, he proclaimed himself Prince of Wales and so began his 14-year rebellion against the English. Today you can still see Owain's Mount - the eroded remains of a 12th century castle motte. Glyndyfrdwy also has a shop and two village pubs.

Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.
