To the outside of the cottage is off road parking for two cars and an enclosed front lawned garden with patio and furniture. Located in stunning countryside, Blaendyffryn Fach is a lovely cottage in a fabulous part of the country. Bed linen and towels are currently NOT provided due to COVID.

Llanllwni 1 mile. A delightfully quaint cottage on the owner's smallholding and on the edge of the stunning Llanllwni Mountain, yet just a mile from the popular little village of Llanllwni. The cottage is a perfect base for families or friends looking to enjoy the fabulous surrounding countryside, yet being accessible to popular market towns and within driving distance from the fantastic sandy beaches of Cardigan Bay. Set over two floors, there are two bedrooms and a family bathroom upstairs. There is a cosy living area with a well-equipped kitchen and dining area, with seating in front of the woodburner, perfect for a warming evening after a day walking the mountain or nearby forestry. Outside, you can sit on the patio in the sunshine and just enjoy the surrounding countryside views whilst enjoying some alfresco dining. Blaendyffryn Fach is surrounded by farmland, with a real feeling of being off the beaten track. You can't help but be enticed out onto the many footpaths in the area and make the most of the fantastic countryside literally on your doorstep. You are ideally placed to explore the sweeping heathland of Llanllwni Mountain or the adjacent Brechfa Forest, both offering fantastic walking and cycle trails, perfect for those who love exploring the great outdoors with an abundance of bird and wildlife. You are just half an hours' drive from the beautiful sandy beaches, tiny coves and stunning coastal path of Cardigan Bay, perfect to enjoy the National Trust beaches or perhaps take a wildlife watching boat trip, and maybe get to the see the bays resident dolphins or seals. Alternatively head further inland and soak up the history of the Dolaucothi Gold Mines and maybe treat yourself to some Welsh Gold. You have some great activities on your doorstep, with opportunities for cycling at all levels at nearby Brechfa Forest, walking over the Llanllwmi Mountains, horse riding and pony trekking just next door, birdwatching with over 85 species of birds, as well as fishing on the rivers Towy and Cothi or canoeing on the River Teifi, which passes through the nearby town of Llandysul. Slightly further afield, will take you to the National Botanic Gardens of Wales near Camarthen, perfect to explore the greenhouses and gardens anytime of the year. Alternatively take a trip to the little town on Llandeilo, perfect for some lunch followed by a trip to the National Trust's Dinefwr Estate and impressive herd of deer. A perfect retreat with a feeling of seclusion and being off the beaten track, as well as being accessible to plenty of activities and towns to visit, Blaendyffryn Fach is a great base for anytime of the year.
