The cottage sleeps four people in upside down accommodation with two ground floor bedrooms, a double and a twin, next to a family bathroom. On the first floor is a kitchen with a dining area and a sitting room with a Juliet balcony. Outside is off road parking and am enclosed lawned garden and patio. Just a couple of minutes' walk from the town centre, Oscar House is a superb base for discovering the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales National Parks.

Two ground floor bedrooms with TV: 1 x king-size double, 1 x twin (zip/link, can be super king-size double on request). Ground floor bathroom with corner bath, separate shower, basin and WC. First floor kitchen with dining area. First floor sitting room with Juliet balcony.

This immaculately-presented detached cottage is set just off the main thoroughfare in the Cumbrian town of Kirby Stephen. Built in an upside down style, the cottage offers lovely open views of the countryside from its triple aspect windows and Juliet balcony on the first floor sitting room, and is an ideal base for friends and family to relax and explore the stunning surrounding area. The two beautifully-furnished bedrooms are on the ground floor alongside the family bathroom with corner bath and large shower. Upstairs is a large, well-equipped kitchen with a dining table, from where there are double doors to the light-filled sitting room with long range views to the Howgills. After a busy day’s activities, enjoy an alfresco meal in your patio garden or relax in the comfort of this spacious cottage. Kirkby Stephen has a range of pubs, cafes, antique shops, independent shops, a delicious bakery, Tourist Information Centre and a laundrette. Close by is the auction house and you can observe the activity from the sitting room and watch the auctions in progress. Situated close to the Eden Valley, this area is a haven for walkers and cyclists with the famous Coast-to-Coast walk passing through the town. Also in the area are a number of activities, such as horse riding, hang gliding, climbing and mountain biking. Take a day trip on the picturesque Settle-Carlisle railway which stops in the town and enjoy the magnificent scenery that is all around. With both the Yorkshire Dales and Lake District National Parks close by, this is a wonderful base to explore all that this scenic area has to offer all year round.
