The house sleeps four people and has one double bedroom and one twin room (which can be presented as a double), and a family bathroom. On the ground floor is an open plan lounge/dining area, a kitchen and a WC, and doors leading out on to a private patio with outdoor furniture. There is allocated, off road parking for one car. Within walking distance of Maenporth beach, and just a short drive from the maritime town of Falmouth, Hedgehog Cottage is a lovely family holiday home. Note: Sorry, no sign written vans or commercial vehicles are permitted at Pendra Loweth, Village of Gardens resort. Note: Bookings for any other reason than holiday/leisure are not permitted on this site. This property cannot be used as private accommodation for work or business trips

A restful home-from-home in a quiet corner of the Village of Gardens at Pendra Loweth, Hedgehog Cottage is just a short drive from the popular maritime town of Falmouth. A purpose built village of holiday homes, Pendra Loweth is a great choice for young families, with onsite all-weather tennis courts, a splash pool, shared lawns and a children’s playground. Hedgehog Cottage sits at the end of a terrace, a stone’s throw from the tennis courts, overlooking a babbling stream and the footpath which leads down to Maenporth beach. On the ground floor, a modern kitchen leads into an open plan lounge/dining area - from where, French doors open out on to a private terrace which catches the afternoon sun each day. Upstairs, two comfortable bedrooms provide plenty of space and storage; the second of which can be presented as either a double or twin room, affording flexibility for couples or friends looking to holiday together. Out and about, the North Helford offers a combination of beach, valley and creekside adventures; discover hidden hamlets, riverside inns, sub-tropical gardens and plenty of opportunities to get out on the water. Quirky Falmouth has an eclectic range of shops as well as some excellent restaurants and a colourful marina where hours can be spent just watching the world go by. Falmouth is also home to the National Maritime Museum, a good option for a rainy day. A fantastic base for exploring this popular visitor destination, Hedgehog Cottage is ideal for those seeking a well-placed, relaxing family holiday.

The town's old harbourside pubs, excellent shopping, art gallery and stunning National Maritime Museum simply complete the picture. Pendennis Castle, built by Henry VIII, is Falmouth's most popular attraction, sited on its own peninsula with superb panoramic sea views. Across from Falmouth harbour is the beautiful town of St Mawes, surrounded by the rocky coves, sandy beaches and lush green countryside of the Roseland Peninsula. Go there by car (15 miles) or take the passenger ferry from Falmouth (15 minutes).
