No need for bored children there are countless activities on-site from splashing in the indoor and outdoor pools to activities (seasonal, subject to availability, extra charges apply) such as rock climbing, archery, canoeing and abseiling and in the evening, pop along to the bar and leave the cooking at home! If you fancy a day away from the activities, this lodge is ideally placed to explore Cornwall or pop over the border and into Devon. There are countless attractions nearby and the National Park of Dartmoor and Bodmin Moor are within easy driving distance, giving you the chance of rambling across rugged moors, spotting wild ponies and topped off with a great picnic. Whitsand Bay has a beautiful sandy beach framed by dramatic scenery and sheer cliffs and is perfect for dipping your toes and sunbathing. Callington is a Cornish market town, rich in mining heritage and overlooked by Kit Hill, the highest point in the area, donated to the people of Cornwall by Prince Charles to celebrate the birth of Prince William. From the top of Kit Hill there are amazing views across south-east Cornwall as far as Plymouth Sound.
