This Visit Scotland 4 Star rated property is a converted steading tucked away into the wonderful village of Aberlour. Filled with history, The Farm Steading used to be part of The Aberlour Orphanage. Charming and wrapped in character, this retreat is equally perfect for families or couples. Wander inside, and a nicely decorated cloakroom lies just ahead of you, tied with a touch of detail. Nearby, a spacious and well presented kitchen boasts a glimpse of colour, and is home to a pretty dining table, so you can sit back and embrace the cosy atmosphere. For a change of scenery, a conservatory comes complete with comfortable chairs, ideal for lounging, or simply enjoying breakfast in the morning time. Just off the hall, the sitting room is complimented by leather seating, a feature electric fire and a homely feel throughout. Read a book or watch TV in the evening hours, to make the most of the peace and quiet. A traditional staircase takes you up to the next floor where you will find original overhead beams across the entire floor, with a pretty double bedroom, accessorized and pieced together with matching bedside tables, fashionable mirrors and a Velux window. This room echoes style and is sure to bring you a peaceful nights sleep. An elegant bathroom rests across from this, with a white finish and a large mirror. If you are looking for extra sleeping space, a twin bedroom accompanies the formation, neutrally designed with a dressing table. For a relaxing afternoon, why not rest in the wonderful garden, surrounded by lovely greenery, and plants which are wrapped around the patio area. This is a refreshing place to enjoy some 'me' time. The village of Aberlour is waiting for you to explore its offerings, with a collection of walking routes, wildlife to be seen, and fishing opportunities close by. 50 whisky distilleries follow the area; certainly worth a visit. An all-round pleasant getaway.
