This detached, spacious property is set amidst four acres of meadows and woodland and has spectacular views over adjoining country to the impressive King Alfred's Tower on the horizon. Inside the cottage is warm and welcoming; a perfect space to come back to at the end of an enjoyable day exploring Somerset's many tourist spots. The kitchen overlooks the dining area through a smart arch and from here a bright sunny conservatory leads out to into the garden and secluded patio area, where you can sit and enjoy a leisurely breakfast or watch the sun set. Bruton is in south-east Somerset. One of the smallest towns in England, it is built in the River Brue valley, between Frome, Gillingham and Wincanton, Castle Cary is also nearby. Bath and Bristol are within reach, by car or train, and attractions such as Stourhead Gardens and House are worth visiting. A lovely base for your Somerset getaway.
