This beautiful ground floor sandstone cottage is located in the pretty hamlet of Catterlen and is only a 10 minute drive from Ullswater. 3 miles north of the town of Penrith. Perfect for couples looking for a luxurious romantic getaway, Buttercup Cottage has been converted from a traditional cow byre and is situated on owner's land. Couples are welcomed by the owners with a complimentary tray of delicious local produce on arrival. Decorated and furnished in a tasteful boutique style, this Cumbrian cottage is full of character with an open plan kitchen/dining area/sitting area which features a smoked glass electric wall fire. The double bedroom includes a stunning en-suite shower room with a hand basin and WC. Couples can relax on a furnished private patio with outstanding views of the open Cumbrian countryside. If you wish, you can bring along your own barbecue to use on the patio. The cottage also offers plenty of private parking. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.
