This glorious detached property is situated in Tirril amongst picturesque countryside near Penrith. With five bedrooms, Hunters Chase is a luxurious property offering the ultimate spot for a large group to holiday in the Lake District. On the ground floor of this high-end property, one of the most significant features is the deluxe kitchen, including its built-in eye level oven and stunning black marble worktops, with a dining area to house the home's full complement of guests. The marble feature can also be found in the spacious open plan sitting area with the stunning fireplace housing a real open fire. If you can tear yourself away from the sumptuous surroundings, follow the oak staircase to the first floor, perhaps stopping at the comfortable reading area before selecting one of the five bedrooms on offer: two doubles with en-suites and TVs, a twin en-suite, a further twin and a single. Befitting a house of such a size, the outside area is a perfect blend of lawn and patio in a large courtyard-style setting, with picnic furniture to sit at and take in the beautiful surrounding countryside. Tirril was once host to its own brewery, and although this has moved within the region the village still has inns to sample within walking distance. A three minute drive south brings you to Pooley Bridge on the northern tip of Ullswater. Ullswater itself offers energetic activities for the active, or cruises on the water for a more relaxing day. Ideally located just four miles south of Penrith, Hunters Chase offers a luxurious stay for a large group or two families looking for the perfect spot from which to explore the Lake District.

The market town of Penrith, once the capital of Cumbria, enjoys a central position between the Lake District and North Pennines and is ideally placed for taking in all that the region has to offer. With a wide choice of excellent pubs, restaurants and entertainment, Penrith also offers a museum, and Millennium Trails round the historic city streets. Within easy reach of the town is Rheged – an innovative visitor centre with shops, restaurants, exhibitions and a giant cinema screen showing educational and informative films.
