Hillcrest is a stone-built cottage with green ivy cascading up the front, set in the peaceful village of Longnor, within the Staffordshire Peak District. This Grade II listed cottage is just a 2-minute walk from the centre of the village, and offers views towards open countryside from the charming front bedrooms. It is simply perfect for families and friends seeking a revitalising break in a beautiful part of England. The interior boasts a lovely standard of quality, with carpet and tiled floors, leather sofas and a gas-imitation woodburner. To the rear of the property, the kitchen displays a thoughtful range of cream base and wall units, with integrated appliances assisting the chef of the group. Enjoy your morning coffee at the breakfast table, followed by a read of the newspaper. The light-filled dining room offers a more formal place to eat your evening meals, with an antique grandfather clock on the wall and shutters on the windows for added privacy. Upstairs, three bedrooms comprise of a double, a twin and a master bedroom with an en-suite shower room. The gleaming bathroom enjoys a royal claw-foot bath for long hot soaks and a hand-held shower fixture - pure bliss after a day hiking over towering peaks. The charming Peak District village of Longnor is situated in beautiful countryside on the Staffordshire Moorlands/Derbyshire border, with the River Dove to the east and the River Manifold to the west, making an excellent touring centre. The village boasts two pubs, a shop, a Post Office, café tea room, fish and chip shop, great craft centre and a beautiful church.

OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.
