Ferryside Watch sits in the heart of Fowey, with an elevated position, overlooking the rooftops to the estuary. It is nestled above a garage at the end of a terrace row and is accessed from street level, up a set of stone steps. Wrapped-up in sea themed romance, this Cornish cottage has been thoughtfully decorated, oozing quality from head-to-toe. The entrance leads to a hallway, with a door to the twin room, which offers zip and link beds for flexible sleeping. The galley-style kitchen is fully fitted, ensuring you have everything you need during your break. Eat your meals together in the dining room, and enjoy the charming ambience throughout the cottage. Climb the staircase to the first floor, where the sitting room boasts wonderful views across the harbour. Bright colour schemes and modern fixtures offer a homely feel. The double room is light and spacious with an ornamental fireplace giving a nod to the period of the house. At the front of the property is an enclosed patio area, perfect for sitting out and breathing the fresh coastal air engulfing the cottage. Pour yourselves a glass of wine and ooze in the beautiful seaside atmosphere, over afternoon chats with friends. Explore the wonderful town of Fowey, rich in history and with so much to see and do. There is fun for all the family, with harbour cruises, watersports, pubs and restaurants, even an aquarium and museum. Stroll across Readymoney Cove and climb the steps to St. Catherine's Castle ruins. The surrounding area offers the Eden Project, the largest indoor rainforest in the world, with events throughout the year, as well as the Lost Gardens of Heligan. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.
