Accommodation Details

This village and civil parish boasts the oldest still-standing cottage in Europe, Cruck Cottage, a Grade II listed building dating back to before the 15th century. This charming village is also situated on the National Cycle Route 81 and is home to a primary school, a Church of England parish church, a village hall, a pub, post office and small business park. Shrewsbury, one of England's finest heritage towns, boasts cobbled alleys and half-timbered buildings, as well as many exciting events and festivals taking place each year, catering for every age and interest. Browse the shops, dine at the many cafes and restaurants and enjoy refreshing drinks in a lovely selection of bars and pubs. Shrewsbury Abbey was founded in 1083 and is home to the fictional Brother Cadfael. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.
