This 14th century, Grade II listed dwelling makes an idyllic base for a friends and family getaway to the wonderful Cotswolds. After an adventure filled day, be welcomed into charming interior which has sympathetically retained a wealth of its original features, including exposed beams and slopping ceilings. Rustle up an evening meal within the amply equipped kitchen, before joining the rest of the group within the dining area to plan the day’s ahead over a delicious home-cooked meal. You can look forward to cosying up within the sitting area of an evening with your loved ones to catch up on your favourite TV shows before retiring for the evening to the first and second. On the first floor you will find a stylish super king-size double bedroom and a bathroom, where you can choose to soak within the bath after a busy day exploring the historic riverside town and a second floor king-size double bedroom. During the warmer months, you can enjoy a cooling beverage within the cottage’s private courtyard, before taking a leisurely stroll into the town, where you will find a wealth of pubs, restaurants and shops to suit all ages and tastes. The Roses Theatre is a popular theatre and cinema only a 10 minute walk away, which boasts a variety of live events, films, workshops and activities. Tewkesbury is also home to an annual medieval festival. Alternatively, you will find a host of of attractions are within a short drive of Tewkesbury including Cheltenham, Gloucester, Shakespeare's Stratford-on-Avon, and Warwick all within easy reach, along with a plethora of chocolate box pretty villages including Burford, Stow-on-the-Wold, the Slaughters and Kingham.
