This pleasant holiday home is a detached bungalow located just a short car or bus ride, from the beach and town centre of Swanage. Sleeping up to five, Sanjernin provides a comfortable base in this Dorset hideaway. The accommodation assists of two bedrooms, the master bedroom comprising of a double bed and a single bed and it’s own ensuite. Relax in the open plan dining area / sitting room after a day exploring the local area. A well-equipped bungalow which provides a relaxing base for families, couples or a group of friends. Swanage is a very popular Dorset seaside town which provides a good variety of high street shops, independent retailers, bars and restaurants. The beach at Swanage with its sand and clear water has won the prestigious European Blue Flag award. Explore the Purbeck Hills and surrounding areas and take in the breath taking scenery. A day out on the steam train is a must, travel along from the Swanage and enjoy the countryside from the top of Corfe Castle. The National Trusts' Corfe Castle is a perfect location to step back in history and a visit to the Castle View visitor centre is perfect for you to get started on the story that shaped the castle. Within an easy drive of Sanjernin is the Bovington Tank Museum and Monkey World. If you would like some retail therapy, shoppers are attracted to the major outlets in Bournemouth and Poole via the chain ferry at Studland. The Swanage area and The Purbecks is perfect for leisure pursuits and tourist attractions, from gentle strolls to lazy days on the sands of the beach, Sanjernin is a perfect choice for the for young and old.
The classic seaside resort of Swanage is right at the eastern end of Dorset’s famous Jurassic Coast, on the celebrated Isle of Purbeck and is probably best known for its wonderful, gently shelving golden sands. The town offers plenty of shops, good pubs and restaurants, some of which specialise in locally caught seafood, and is also well known for its annual jazz festival, which takes place each July. The attractive, Victorian wooden pier offers a great place for a stroll or try fishing, and often used a departure point for divers, it’s a wonderful place to watch the world pass by. The historic Swanage Railway has its terminus in the town and regular nostalgic steam engine trips take tourists for a picturesque 6-mile journey, chugging through lovely countryside to stop just beyond the romantic ruin of Corfe Castle. Nearby Durlston Country Park offers a lovely day out with spectacular coastal walks, dolphin spotting and wildlife watching, together with comfortable viewing points and a well-stocked cafe for a treat after all the fresh air. Take a short drive to Studland, which has one of the finest beaches in the country, surrounded by heathland, together with the regular chain ferry, which crosses the mouth of Poole Harbour to Sandbanks. This truly is a delightful holiday destination at any time of the year.

The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.
