An elegant and tastefully furnished, characterful flat, providing beautiful accommodation for a couple that want a cosy retreat. The property boasts stunning views over the River Dart, across to Kingswear and out to sea from the bright and airy open plan sitting/dining room. From Newcomen Road there is a communal entrance to Dartview and two short flights of stairs up to the property. There is a lobby with hanging space for outdoor clothes and shoes. The modern kitchen has a two-ringed hob, electric combi-oven and fridge. The open plan dining / sitting room has stunning views across the water, two arm chairs positioned by the window, perfect for admiring the river views, and a Smart TV with DVD player, whilst a small utility room hides a washing machine. The master bedroom has a double bed and plenty of clothes storage whilst a bathroom is situated off the main hallway with a bath, shower (over), w.c, hand basin and shaver point. Located in the very heart of Dartmouth, this flat has easy access to all the local attractions including restaurants, shops, galleries and pubs within just a few minutes’ level walk. A parking permit is provided for the nearby Mayors Avenue long-stay car park for a single car however spaces are subject to availability.

Dartmouth lies on the banks of the beautiful River Dart in the popular and picturesque South Hams area of South Devon. Located within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and close to the stunning Start Bay coastline, Dartmouth is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Devon. It offers a stunning waterfront, ancient narrow streets lined with boutique shops, restaurants and art galleries plus many popular events such as the annual Dart Music Festival, Dartmouth Food Festival and the Port of Dartmouth Royal Regatta. This historic town boasts interesting landmarks, such as Dartmouth Castle, the Britannia Royal Naval College, and the National Trust’s Greenway House just a short ferry ride away. There are many interesting cycling and walking routes around Dartmouth, including the South West Coast Path, the Dart Valley Trail and plenty of quiet country lanes. A trip on the Dartmouth Steam Railway through the rolling countryside to Paignton is a must, and so is a boat or ferry trip across to Kingswear, on to Brixham, or down the river to the village of Dittisham. For those seeking sandy beaches, there is a wide choice in the South Hams area such as Blackpool Sands and Slapton Sands, both extremely popular beaches just a stone's throw from Dartmouth.

An annual parking permit is provided for the nearby Mayors Avenue long-stay car park for one car (subject to available spaces). Alternatively, out of season there is usually free parking available on the roadside nearby. Strictly No Smoking. Please note for reasons of comfort this property is only suitable for 2 adults.
