There are numerous stunning walks on the South West Coast Path easily accessible from the apartment, to Salcombe, Thurlestone, and further beyond to Bantham and Burgh Island. Ideally situated for couples and young families looking to enjoy the beautiful coast path and nearby sandy beaches. Chichester Court is an exclusive development of six apartments. Number six is a spacious well-presented apartment which has been well maintained and updated. For 2019 a new heating system has been installed and it has been redecorated and newly carpeted throughout. The large living area has two sofas, a 42 inch Panasonic Smart TV/DVD player and iPod dock. The dining table will seat six. The apartment is ideally situated for couples and families wanting to enjoy the South West Coast Path and the sandy beaches of Hope Cove are ideal for a variety of water sports including paddle boarding, kayaking and sailing. Duvets, pillows, bed linen (white cotton) and towels are provided. Guests need to bring their own beach towels. The private south facing balcony is equipped with table and chairs and enjoys stunning views. The grounds surrounding the apartments are unsuitable for children to play on due to steep gradients There is one allocated visitor parking space, and additional parking available in the nearby village car park.
The picturesque fishing village of Hope Cove lies in a sheltered bay on South Devon’s coastline, offering superb views over Bigbury Bay and Burgh Island. A choice destination for families, two beaches offer soft sand for sandcastle building, plus rock pools great for entertaining children. The town remains a fishing village where crabs and lobsters are still landed, however it was once used by smugglers. Many ships have perished around the coast and the wrecks that lie beneath the waves make it a popular spot for divers. Above the beach there are a number of pubs and restaurants, including the popular café bar ‘The Cove’. The coastal footpath can be joined from here and leads towards the sandy beaches of Thurlestone and Bigbury-on-Sea in one direction, and the sailing town of Salcombe in the other.
