Berry Cottage is an immaculately presented Grade II listed waterfront retreat in an idyllic and picturesque location, boasting stunning and uninterrupted views across the River Dart. Situated on The Quay in the pretty village of Dittisham, (known locally as Ditsum!) the property is just a 10-minute drive (or 20-30 minute river cruise via the small passenger ferry, or hired boat) from the historic naval town of Dartmouth, with its award-winning restaurants, individual boutique shops and delightful waterfront. The Ferry Boat Inn (one of two pubs in the village, in addition to a shop/post office) and widely acclaimed Anchorstone Café serving locally-sourced fish and seafood in a stunning riverside location are within 100 yards of the cottage, whilst Agatha Christie's former home 'Greenway' (now owned by the National Trust) is a short ferry 'hop' across from The Quay. The beautiful unspoilt South Devon coastline is also nearby, with Blue Flag-awarded Blackpool Sands beach around a 20-minute drive away. Nestled in a tranquil location on the edge of the River Dart, the waterside village of Dittisham is just a 10 minute drive (or 30 minute river cruise via the small passenger ferry) from the historic naval town of Dartmouth, where visitors can enjoy boutique shops and galleries, award-winning restaurants and the picturesque waterfront. The peaceful waterside village of Dittisham boasts two pubs, including the Ferry Boat Inn, plus the popular Anchorstone Café, serving freshly caught seafood. In addition to this there is a convenient shop/post office. Greenway House, the former holiday home of Agatha Christie now owned by the National Trust, is a short ferry side away from Dittisham quay. The Blue Flag awarded beach at Blackpool Sands and the stunning Start Bay coastline are just a 20 minute drive away.

Four-ring induction hob, integrated electric and microwave ovens, dishwasher, washer/dryer, fridge/freezer and Nespresso coffee machine. Whilst there is no allocated parking at the cottage, spaces can usually be found on 'The Ham' nearby (approx 100m), or on 'The Level' at the top of the village. Wireless broadband internet available, and telephone for local and incoming calls (limited mobile coverage). Strictly no smoking. One small, well-behaved (and well-managed!) dog is welcome. Bed linen and towels are provided. Guests will need to bring their own beach towels.
