With a choice of beaches close by and two of the UK's leading attractions; the Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan within a short drive, how can you miss the opportunity? St Blazey is situated three miles east of St Austell and is now best known for being the closest to the Eden Project. Nearby Charlestown is famous for its collection of tall ships riding at anchor in the harbour, the shipwreck museum, pubs and restaurants and easy access to the coastal path. St. Austell lies just a few miles from the south coast, and is famous for its China Clay mining history. A short drive will take you to fashionable Fowey or the fishing port of Mevagissey.
