Mitcheldean is at the gateway to the Forest of Dean and Wye Valley and you ll be surrounded by nature, heritage and if you want it; adventure! Known for its walks and outdoor activities, the area is home to such features as the Sculpture Trail, the Dean Heritage Centre and the scenic river at Symonds Yat where you can look for the nesting Peregrine Falcons or view the magnificent Tintern Abbey ruins. This cosy cottage is light and spacious and has been very comfortably furnished and well equipped by the owners. The lounge has a feature inglenook fireplace with a wood burner and Freeview TV/DVD. The cosy kitchen/diner is well equipped with an electric oven and gas hob, microwave, coffee machine, fridge with ice box and washing machine. In the utility room there is a freezer. Completing the ground floor is the shower room with WC. Upstairs the attractive double bedroom with TV, has views to the village church. Stepping outside you will find the lovely enclosed walled cottage garden to the rear with patio area, seating and a lawn with established shrubs and plants. This is the perfect spot to enjoy a bit of al fresco dining and if you re bringing your family pet on holiday with you, they will be secure too.
