One of the castles is a fantastically maintained family home with expansive landscaped gardens, whilst Sherborne Old Castle is an atmospheric ruin maintained by English Heritage, once home to Sir Walter Raleigh. Within a 20 mile radius, you can find many attractions, including the Haynes Motor Museum, Fleet Air Arm Museum and the plethora of beaches lining the World Heritage Jurassic Coast, such as the sweeping beach at West Bay, pretty Lyme Regis with its historic Cobb harbour, Abbotsbury and Burton Bradstock. A shared path leads from the parking area to the private entrance of this terraced barn conversion. Once inside, you are met with an open plan lounge/kitchen/diner. There is a cosy lounge area with the dining table opposite, whilst the kitchen is set to the back of the space. Stairs rise from here to the first floor where there are two bedrooms, one double and one twin, and a shower room.
