Steeped in history, Dorset's beautiful landscape of rolling chalk downland and hidden valleys affords wonderful walking. The towns of Dorchester, Sherborne and Yeovil are easily accessible and there are many National Trust properties and gardens to visit including Montacute and Stourhead. The popular seaside town of Weymouth with its sandy beach is an easy 30 minute drive and the coast road from Weymouth to Lyme Regis is simply breathtaking. The market town of Bridport and the beach and harbour at West Bay are within a 30 minute drive. In addition to this there are many attractions including Corfe Castle, Monkey World and Abbotsbury Swannery. Enter the cottage through the front door which will lead you into the cosy lounge where there is a cosy wood burner to snuggle up in front of, as well as a TV and DVD player. Moving on, there is the kitchen/diner, which has an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. There is ample room around the dining table to enjoy leisurely meals with family and friends. Also on the ground floor is the bathroom, which has a shower over the bath and a WC. Heading upstairs, you will encounter the first bedroom which is at the front of the property and is a light and airy room with a double bed. Completing the first floor is the second bedroom containing twin beds which overlooks the wonderful rear garden. Stepping outside, to the rear of the property and accessed via a shared pathway and external stone steps, is an enclosed cottage garden with seating, a perfect spot to admire the gorgeous flower garden.
