The Tarka Trail is just a few minutes away and is perfect for walkers, with some lovely riverside views along the former railway line. Other attractions include Tapeley Park, The Big Sheep and National Trust Arlington Court. In the evenings relax on the terrace and enjoy the sunsets or enjoy village hospitality in the local pub. From the entrance there is a lounge/diner which is a great place for entertaining, with superb views across the roof tops and the estuary to Appledore and beyond. And comfy sofas for relaxing after a day exploring in front of the TV with DVD player. The kitchen also enjoys incredible views and has everything you need if you don't want to go out to each.
