The historic town of Tavistock is two miles away from the farm and visitors can spend a day exploring the pannier market, shops, cafés, cinema and restaurants. Further afield, the Eden Project is an hour s drive away and is a great day out. There are also several National Trust properties nearby including Cotehele House, Buckland Abbey and Lydford Gorge, all within just five miles. Take the opportunity to visit another county and enjoy days out in Cornwall, this barn is only a few miles from the village of Gunnislake and the Cornish border. Retaining plenty of original features, this former barn has been lovingly decorated and furnished to create a hugely comfortable home from home. When entering the exposed stone wall barn, there is an open plan lounge/kitchen/diner with a feature granite fireplace and wood burner (first basket of logs provided) to keep guests warm. The exposed stone walls keep the barn cool in warmer weather. The lounge area is furnished with a large sofa and is equipped with a TV and for entertainment. Passing the dining area, featuring a table and chairs perfect for any occasion, the modern kitchen is fitted out with a hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, washer/dryer and fridge/freezer. There is one king size bedroom with an en suite shower room and WC. Outside the property, a garden is provided for guests to use, enjoying great views out over the surrounding countryside.
