Located near Bontddu village with Dolgellau town 3.5 miles in the East and the seaside resort of Barmouth 4.5 miles in the West, both offer a wide range of independent shops, cafe s, pubs, restaurants and attractions to enjoy. Within half a mile, crossing the estuary by the wooden toll bridge, there is the RSPB site and pub offering culinary delights and local beers. The National Park has an abundance of footpaths and cycle routes from gentle strolls to challenging climbs, enjoy kayaking, river and sea fishing or visit Coed y Brenin, Zip World and Surf Snowdonia. With a plethora of museums, galleries, historic sites such as Harlech Castle and Portmeirion to name but 2, there is always something to see and do. As you take the steps to the left of this imposing chapel, down to the entrance you will no doubt stop and embrace the view. The hallway leads to the light and airy open plan lounge/kitchen/diner with well equipped kitchen with electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher and all the equipment you need if you decide to eat in.
