Those who enjoy spending time in the outdoors will love the fact that The South Downs National Park lies just to the west of the town, with Beachy Head easily accessible by a rewarding two mile down land walk. A brick archway off the High Street leads down a path to the front door of this cottage, which opens directly into the property s cosy lounge/diner. This homely room offers a comfortable sofa and chair for relaxing in front of the TV, and a dining area with table with seating four and an attractive original Victorian fireplace. Towards the rear, a door leads through to the kitchen where guests will find an oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, and washing machine, perfect for those who to prefer to cook at home. Steep turned stairs lead from the lounge to the first floor where the first of the property s two bedrooms is located. This is a restful single room. The contemporary bathroom is also on this floor and offers a shower over bath and WC. A further set of steep stairs leads up to the main bedroom, a pleasant double room with plenty of storage space. Outside, accessed through the kitchen, there is a sunny rear patio with garden furniture, providing a delightful space to enjoy al fresco drinks and meals.
