Set in its own grounds and boarded by the National Trust and only half a mile from the famous Wellington Monument. Many pretty towns and villages are accessible from here, including nearby Wellington, which offers a good selection of local amenities. A visit to the town museum is a must for history lovers. Also accessible by car are a wealth of popular attractions including the rugged beauty of Exmoor and Dartmoor, north and south coasts and a choice of National Trust properties. A gravel driveway leads you to the detached stone barn, with two steps which bring you onto the decking area giving access to the door. Once inside you are met with a welcoming lounge/kitchen/diner, cosy sociable, which has double doors opening onto the deck, making the most of the stunning views. The comfortable lounge area is the perfect spot for relaxing after a day spent exploring, sit back on the sofa and enjoy a film on the TV/DVD.
