Very popular among walkers, the local area encompasses some fantastic routes, from the nine mile trek through the Grizedale Forest to the challenging climb to the top of Coniston Old Man. Alternatively, why not explore the area from the water by hiring a canoe, rowing boat or small motor boat from nearby Coniston Boating Centre. Step through the entrance hall and into the bright and airy lounge. With comfortable sofas, a well stocked bookcase, cosy gas fire and French doors opening onto the decked terrace, this is a fantastic room all year round. The kitchen is spacious and light with a sociable breakfast bar, ample surface space and modern appliances. Once prepared, enjoy family meals in the adjoining dining room, which again opens onto the decked terrace through French doors, generating an al fresco feel come rain or shine. A laundry room and shower room are also located on the ground floor, while the bedrooms and bathroom are upstairs.
