Set in its own idyllic grounds on the edge of the Forest of Dean, the property enjoys remarkable panoramic views across the River Severn which you can enjoy from the moment you drive through the gates. Step into the hallway of this delightfully restored Georgian retreat and you will gain your first glimpse of the eclectic style that blends sympathetically into many original features. The ground floor offers generously proportioned living areas where you can gather to discuss the days exciting activities or simply relax with a good book. The original drawing room with its traditional open fire, is the perfect place to indulge in a pre dinner aperitif with views onto the gardens. A cosy snug sits just off the kitchen where you can steal way with a good book or gather to watch TV. The conservatory sits to the side of the house where you can relax with your morning coffee and papers. There is also a large dining hall/library full of interesting books as well as a 16 seater wooden table and chairs that takes centre stage. There is an additional table that will seat a further six guests if required. If you fancy some friendly competition, challenge the rest of your group to a game of table tennis or table football within the games room. The kitchen will please the best of chefs, three electric fan cookers and a electric induction hob with five rings, microwave, fridge/freezer, larder fridge, wine cooler, two dishwashers, Nespresso machine, filter coffee machine, washing machine and tumble dryer. There is also a king size bedroom on the ground floor with an en suite shower and WC. Upstairs you will find another six bedrooms, all beautifully finished in Farrow & Ball colours. There is a super king size along with a single sofa bed with en suite bathroom with power shower and bath where you can enjoy soaking and WC.
