Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. Access to shared outside utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer. Electric and central heating included. TV/DVD in the lounge area. Wood burner (First basket of logs included from October until March). Wi Fi included. Private off road parking for 2 cars. Regret no pets. Guests can book boats in advance from Fowey River Boat Hire (details provided), and boats can be delivered to Kit s House pontoon ready for you to use on the river.. Beach 3 miles, pub and shop 1.5 miles. The access road to the property is down a narrow farm lane.

Only slightly further afield, days out can include trips to Looe and Polperro to the east, and Mevagissey to the west. Pretty Lostwithiel is also well worth a visit and here you will be spoilt for choice when it comes to boutique interior shops and antiques emporiums. Walkers will be in their element due to direct access onto a public footpath, and the South West Coast Path nearby. Other attractions accessible from here include the Eden Project, The Lost Gardens of Heligan, Charlestown and numerous National Trust properties. Stepping inside this unique property into the entrance hallway. The other bedroom is an attractive single bedroom with an additional single pull out bed (which can be used to accommodate an additional guest). Located at the rear of the property there is a beautifully appointed bathroom with shower over the bath and WC. Stepping out of the French doors you will find a delightful riverside terrace looking out over the Veranda and the stunning Fowey estuary with garden furniture providing the perfect place for alfresco dining. There is shared pontoon onto the estuary for guests use. Private off road parking for two cars is provided. (The veranda is designated for the sole use of Captains Cottage, however, occupants of the other properties have access along the side of the veranda in order to access their properties)..
