The market town of Barnstaple is a short drive away from the house, with shops, cinema, pubs, restaurants and a theatre for guests to visit. The North Devon coast is also within easy reach, surfers and sunbathers alike can enjoy the sandy beaches of Croyde, Saunton Sands and Westward Ho! The wilds of Exmoor are a favourite with hikers, with many walks for them to choose from. For a family day out, guests can visit The Milky Way, The Big Sheep, Arlington Court, RHS Rosemoor and the nearby Tapeley Park where you will be inspired by the idyllic Italianate terraces and kitchen gardens. Cycle or walk the 180 mile Tarka Trail, a former railway route; stop at the cafe in Fremington Quay s old station house which also serves home cooked food. As you enter this reverse level property you will be welcomed onto the ground floor where you will find three of the properties bedrooms, a double with en suite shower room with shower and WC, a twin zip and link (which can be made into a super king size on request) and a twin room along with a family bathroom with slipper bath, separate shower and WC. Climbing the glass encased staircase to the first floor is where you will find the impressive open plan lounge/kitchen/diner, the lounge area has a large Smart TV, comfy sofas, stylish cylindrical wood burner and feature mood/colour lighting system, bright and light with picture windows at either end this is a great social space the kitchen area has everything you need including an double electric oven and induction hob, microwave, under counter fridge and freezer, dishwasher and wine cooler add to this impressive kitchen. An island unit doubles as a breakfast bar with stools and an ideal place to enjoy a pre dinner drink and chat. The formal dining area is situated between the kitchen and the lounge area and there is plenty of room for everyone to sit comfortably.
