Get the adrenalin going at Splash White Water Rafting (17 miles), or if you prefer a slower trip on the water opt for the Loch Tay Safari (13 miles) and learn about the local history and folklore. Inside the cottage, beautiful woods and stone feature throughout, giving the property a cosy and traditional feel. The lounge is a relaxing and comfortable haven with sofas to sink into in front of the fire surrounded by a pretty stone fireplace on a cool evening. Watch TV here or read one of the many books available to choose from. Cook up a storm in the farmhouse style kitchen that has everything you need, including an oven and microwave, before enjoying it in the dining room among rich dark woods and superb views of the woodland from the window. Head through to the double bedroom and have a peaceful sleep among soft decor; there's also an en suite bathroom with hand held shower and WC with this room. A further bathroom with a shower over the bath and WC, is a relaxing place for a soak after a day's walking. You'll also find a twin bedroom with a large window seat to sit at in the mornings. If you want to bring extra family members, the property also includes a bothy, which is the name given to Scottish huts or cottages that are often used as a mountain refuge, and this separate building has a further two twin rooms which both have hand basins.
