Take a trip on the historic West Somerset steam railway which runs from Minehead to Bishops Lydeard. Explore the coastal town of Minehead and visit the pretty village of Porlock. Dunster with its National Trust castle towering above it is a must see. This stone thatched cottage is beautiful bolthole for those who want to get away from it all. Enter through the private gated entrance and follow a path to this delightful property. Once through the front door you are welcomed into the lounge with French doors opening into the garden. Settle in for a snug evening with a feast, a bottle of wine and a film on the TV in front of the roaring wood burner. Step up into the kitchen/diner which is cleverly fitted with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge with ice compartment, dishwasher and washing machine, perfect for cooking a lazy breakfast in bed, or a scrumptious supper. From the lounge there is a slight slope to the double bedroom through a traditional cottage style restricted head height doorframe where you can sleep tight after a busy day exploring. There is also a little useful room with hanging space and room for suitcases etc. Completing the accommodation is a shower room which has a step up to it and has a shower and WC. Outside you will find a secluded garden, with al fresco dining furniture and views to the Quantock Hills.
