Hay on Wye, which is just a short drive away, is famous for its International Book Festival, with plenty of second hand bookshops, an art house cinema and independent shops, as well as The Globe at Hay. The property is set within the heart of a working farm and under 0.25 miles of the traditional hamlet of Painscastle. Climb the stone steps up to the front door and step inside, the living space is full of character and is open plan. In the cosy lounge, there is a large sofa where you can relax after a day exploring, along with a generously sized smart TV where you can enjoy a good movie.
