Both Hastings Pier and Hastings Old Town are within easy under 0.25 miles and provide endless entertainment and just a half hour drive will bring you to several National Trust properties, including Bodiam Castle and Batemans, and beautiful gardens such as Great Dixter House and Gardens and Pashley Manor Gardens. Leave your shoes, buckets and spades in the small hall before continuing through to the lounge/diner with a separate kitchen overlooking the sea. There is ample seating on the comfy sofa and chaise longue for all, or curl up in the armchair with a good book in front of the open fire.
