Close by and to the north, Filey Brigg (1.5 miles) has some amazing rock pools to explore and also marks the end/start of the Cleveland Way Walk. For a change of scene, the North York Moors National Park (24 miles) is a fantastic place to enjoy scenic country walks, explore a number of pretty towns and villages, or perhaps test your mettle at the Go Ape high ropes centre in Dalby Forest (23.5 miles).
