The North Pennines, Lake District and Yorkshire Dales are all within 15 miles, making this is a fantastic base for discovering some of England s finest countryside. The town of Penrith (14 miles) has some great shops, with nearby attractions including Dalemain Mansion and Historic Gardens (16 miles), and Lowther Castle and Gardens (12.5 miles).
