On rest days, Keswick is packed with family fun from the Theatre by the Lake and the town cinema to the interesting museums. Don t miss the intriguing Castlerigg Stone Circle (1.5 miles), and stately Mirehouse on Bassenthwaite (5 miles). Or further afield, take a day trip to coastal Maryport 21 miles).
