2 bedrooms 1 super king size (can be made into twin beds on request), 1 double.. 2 additional attic rooms (not suitable for young children) one with two futon beds and another with two put up single beds. If you require the beds to be made up in either of the attic rooms an additional charge applies please contact us to book. 2 shower rooms with WCs and 1 separate WC. Gas oven and hob, dishwasher, microwave, freestanding fridge freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer. Gas fire. TV, DVD and VHS, Hi Fi. Wi Fi included. Towels not provided. Off road parking for 2 cars. 4 dogs welcome. Shop, pub, restaurant within 0.5 mile. Sleeps 4 4. Please note there is an additional charge for using the attic rooms and it must be requested at the time of booking. The TV in the attic room only works when linked up to a gaming console so please bring your own with you. Very steep ladder style steps lead up to the attic room and it has fully opening windows so is not suitable for young children.

Just 5 miles away Whinlatter Forest Park has graded cycling and walking trails for all abilities, a popular cafe and play park, and thrill seekers will love the high ropes course. The ancient and mysterious Castlerigg Stone Circle sits just above the town and well worth a visit. Penrith is 17 miles away and is the largest town in the area with a good mixture of independent and high street shops as well as many places to eat. Cream walls and warm wooden floors are complemented by bright textiles and colourful artwork adding character to this charming property. Through a set of French doors, enter the ground floor of this cottage, bright with natural light. The living room has a comfortable five seater leather corner settee, and matching leather armchair perfect for gathering everyone together. On chilly evenings light the gas fire and settle down for a cosy evening, watching a DVD as your dog snoozes in front of the flickering flames. The well stocked kitchen includes a gas oven and four ring hob, dishwasher, microwave, freestanding fridge freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer. The dining room adjoins the living room and the table seats up to seven guests, ideal for sociable meals at any time of day. Upstairs, the super king size bedroom can be made up as a twin room and has a small TV for those lazy mornings. A further double bedroom, two shower rooms and a separate WC completes the first floor. The attic room (available on request at an additional charge) is accessed via a permanent ladder from the first floor and has been designed with older children in mind. A large TV is available to hook up a gaming system, increasing the chance that parents can be left in peace downstairs so be sure to bring the PlayStation or Xbox.
