If you fancy staying dry and stretching your legs, wander high above Keswick to Castlerigg Stone Circle (2 miles) for panoramic views. Treat family and friends to a movie night at the local cinema or book tickets for a show at Theatre by the Lake (less than a mile). Step through the garden, through the front door and into the porch where you can hang coats and leave boots behind.
