2 bedrooms 1 four poster double bed, 1 large double (7'3 by 5'). 2 bathrooms 2 en suite shower rooms with WC. 1 separate WC on first floor.. Electric oven, electric hob, microwave, American style fridge/freezer, dishwasher. Washing machine and tumble dryer in separate building. Smart TV in upper living area and ground floor bedroom. Wi Fi included. Large, shared garden with lawn, plus access to 18 acres of grounds. Located on a working farm. Shared off road parking available for 2 cars. Lockable storage for bikes. 1 dog welcome. Please note that the garden is shared with the owners of the farmhouse. They do have dogs themselves who are very friendly and would usually have use of the garden also. The owner is happy to lock their dogs away if you feel uncomfortable around dogs. If you are bringing your own dog and they don't mix well with other dogs, if you could let the owner know in advance and again they will make sure their dogs are locked away. The ground floor bedroom can be accessed via a flat threshold with a small lip.. The ground floor bathroom is en suite and has a low entry shower.. The living area and kitchen can be accessed via an inside staircase that has a handrail.. Wheelchair and a toilet raiser for loan upon request.. Pub, shops and beach 3.5 miles.

Here in this dramatic wilderness, you ll find Scafell Pike, England s highest mountain, as well as the country s deepest lake. Whatever your ability, you ll find a walk to suit you. Take a day trip to the ancient village of Ravenglass (3.5 miles) to stroll along the sandy beach, ride on the heritage steam train or visit Muncaster Castle. The fortress dates to 1208 and is claimed to be one of the UK s most haunted castles! There s also a play area and maze for children to enjoy. Steps to the rear of the property take you into the first floor lounge/kitchen/diner. This spacious area is perfect for entertaining and is full of character, with exposed beams, vaulted ceilings and quirky features. Relax on the plump leather sofas in front of the Smart TV, curl up with a book from the extensive collection or challenge your fellow guests to a board game. There s also a dining table, so you can all enjoy mealtimes together. The oak kitchen features an electric oven, separate electric hob, microwave, American style fridge/freezer and a handy dishwasher. You ll also find a separate WC on this level. Completing the first floor is a double bedroom with a fabulous four poster bed and an en suite shower room with WC. Heading downstairs to the ground floor, discover a second double bedroom. The bed in this room is a bespoke bed that is 7' 3 long by 5' wide. It has been made out of wood that was grown and felled at Linbeck. This room has a large Smart TV, two external doors and an en suite shower room with a low entry shower and WC. In the stable outside the property is a washing machine, tumble dryer and sink perfect for dealing with muddy walking gear. The cottage is located on an 18 acre smallholding, with spectacular views in all directions. The peaceful garden has a large lawn, as well as a number of fabulous, rare rhododendrons. The garden is shared with the owners, as well as their hens, horses and pig. This is a great spot for wildlife watching, with regular visitors including red squirrels, woodpeckers and great tits. There is off road parking for two cars available in front of the main house..
