Private parking for 2 cars on the rear driveway. Regret no pets. Pub 0.5 miles, Windermere 2 miles. Short breaks available from a Friday or a Monday during November March. Please note due to the nature of the driveway cars with low slung slung suspensions may wish to park on the road.

Heading south, the town of Windermere (3 miles) lies on the shores of the lake and has some welcoming places to eat and drink. To the north, you can visit Wordsworth s home in Ambleside (3.5 miles), or you could take a cruise across the lake to Wray Castle. The cottage is also ideal for visiting Coniston Water and Ullswater (both 10 miles). Entering this pretty cottage, you will find yourself in the cosy and inviting first lounge.
