Windermere is a fabulous base for woodland walks or for taking a cruise across the lake. Heading south, the popular market town of Ulverston is the birthplace of Stan Laurel and is home to the Laurel and Hardy Museum (7.5 miles), with the South Lakes Safari Zoo also nearby (10.5 miles). The entrance porch features original slate flooring and is a handy space for hanging up coats before entering the cosy and relaxing lounge. This light and airy room is a wonderful space to unwind in at the end of a great day, with a lovely wood burner, plenty of seating and a Smart TV so you can relax and enjoy a favourite movie. Exploring further, the attractive kitchen is fully equipped with an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, washing machine and microwave. Heading outside, the fantastic back garden is arranged over several tiers and includes a lovely decked patio area with outdoor furniture, mounted heater and lighting, perfect for a spot of al fresco dining. Steps lead up further into the garden, which is covered with Astroturf, there are further seating areas and a hot tub, a pretty flower garden, a decked area offering far reaching views, and a grassed area with a plum tree and apple tree.
