Cross the causeway at low tide to Holy Island for a wealth of history and beautiful scenery. Take a boat trip from Seahouses harbour just 2 miles away to spot puffins from April to August, a host of other birdlife and even bottlenose dolphins if you re lucky, while Alnwick Castle and Gardens (13 miles) offer family days out. Enter through the front door and into the open plan lounge/kitchen/diner where you can relax on the comfortable sofas after a day on the beach and watch your favourite shows on the smart TV or catch up on some reading.
