The packhorse trail to Watendlath is a popular trail from here as well. Once you have completed your walk why not relax and take in the view from the garden of the local tearoom just 200 meters from the property. A walk through Castle Crag woods is one of the best places for spotting a red squirrel in Borrowdale and lots of other wildlife. If you are looking for relaxation, why not book a session at the spa just three miles away. As you enter the property you will find yourself in the country style kitchen with Honister slate worktops, electric Range oven and hob, a microwave, and a small informal seating area. Next door to the kitchen is the lounge, with comfortable seating, a wood burner and a Smart TV this room is spacious with stunning views across Borrowdale and open countryside. From the lounge and through the French doors is the formal dining room, it is an ideal social space for family or friends to catch up. There is a small double room next door with the same fabulous views, a bathroom is opposite with shower over jacuzzi bath and WC. Completing the property is a second double bedroom and a twin bedroom. There is a secluded patio outside the entrance, which can also be accessed from the dining room via the French doors, there is seating and a table that offer you the perfect al fresco dining option on a nice evening. There is a small shared garden with a lawn as well, for you to sit out and enjoy the views.
