Just a mile along the coast is Highcliffe, which is home to Highcliffe Castle, known for its striking Gothic Revival architecture and gardens designed by Capability Brown, which lead to the beach. There are several nature reserves nearby or head to the fragile landscape of the New Forest National Park (1.5 miles). Within 14 miles are many other attractions including the Sammy Miller Museum, Beaulieu Motor Museum and Moors Valley Country Park. The entrance door gives access into a welcoming hallway with a useful separate WC.
