This is the perfect base to get out and explore the Northern Lakes, with Derwentwater (less than a mile) and Bassenthwaite (4 miles). Take a walk down to the Theatre by the Lake (1200 yards) enjoy a talk, film or hop on and off the regular launch service, and discover many fascinating sights including the waterfall at Lodore, Surprise View at Ashness Gate, and Beatrix Potter s walled garden at Lingholm. Jump on the open top bus and tour the Lakes at leisure. Whinlatter Forest with its fantastic bike tracks and walks is less than 5 miles away. As you approach the property you will notice a covered entrance, entering the property you will find yourself in the hallway where there is coat and shoe storage. The kitchen is just along the hallway and well equipped with a gas hob and electric oven, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave, and washer/dryer.
