Bala is just under 3 miles away, famous for its lake, which is the largest natural lake in Wales and home to a unique fish called the Gwyniaid, a relic of the Ice Age! Enjoy a ride on the narrow gauge Bala Lake Railway or visit the independent shops, eateries and the historic Town Walk. Surrounded by the fantastic Berwyn Mountains on one side and the magnificent Snowdonia Mountain Range on the other, this is a great destination for either a relaxing or active holiday. This detached, single storey former railway station is full of interesting features and thoughtful little extras to enhance your stay.
